World's Largest Fireworks Display
Nations Park in Lisbon will host the world's largest firework's cascade at midnight on New Year's Eve.
The titanium burst will last for two minutes with a 150 m column of flame from the top of the 140 meter tall Vasco da Gama Tower into the Tagus River below, followed by a 10 minute display of conventional fireworks lit from eight floating platforms on the river.
Nations Park, which was built for Expo 98, hopes to beat its own world record for the biggest firework cascade.
