Portugal Street Signs
Portugal's road signs and street signs are clear to read and, in general, well situated.

In Lisbon, the brown signs point to attractions and places of interest. Icons are used for museums and churches.

Portugal's public toilets are also sign-posted - look out for the WC icon and the Portuguese word for toilet - sanitarios.

Destinations are usually shown with black text on a white background.
