Faro Station, Algarve
Faro Station in Faro in the Algarve has local train services to Olhao, Lagos, Loule, Albufeira, Tavira (40 minutes) and Vila Real Santo Antonio on the Spanish border. Trains run on the Linea do Algarve line.

There are daily mainline train services to Lisbon from Faro Station (around 3 hours to 3 hours, 45 minutes) and to Coimbra (once a week) as well as to Porto via Lisbon.

Trains leave Faro for Vila Real Santo Antonio Station to the east on the Spanish border at 7.50 am, 8.67 am, 9.55 am, 11.34 am, 12.55 pm, 1.55 pm, 3 pm, 5.06 pm, 5.51 pm, 6.23 pm, 7.22 pm, 8.36 pm and 10.06 pm.
Travelling west to Lagos trains leave Faro at 7.11 am, 9.02 am, 10.23 am, 12.22 pm, 4.17 pm, 5.18 pm, 6.12 pm, 7.19 pm, and 8.38 pm.

There is a bar and small shop on Faro Station which is a short walk from Faro Bus Station. Both the bus and train station in Faro have a number of taxis waiting for hire.

Hotel Sol Algarve is very close to Faro Station. There Faro Station area of Largo da Estação has some excellent bars and the recommended Adega Nova restaurant.
