Igreja Matriz Nossa Senhora da Conceição, Albufeira
The Igreja Matriz (Parish Church) Nossa Senhora da Conceição is located in the old town of Albufeira close to the Igreja Santa Ana and the Museum of Sacred Art. The church dates from the 18th century.

Interior
The church's neo-classical interior consists of single nave with a statue of the Virgin Mary. The altarpiece was painted by local artist Samora Barros (1887-1972).
Albufeira's Nossa Senhora da Conceição also contains a 15th century image of Nossa Senhora da Orada, that features in the annual Festa Nossa Senhora da Orada procession celebrated in August.
