Igreja da Misericórdia de Chaves
The Igreja da Misericórdia de Chaves in Chaves dates from 1532 but the church and its architecture that we see today are mainly from the 18th century.
The granite façade of the church |
The superb azulejos tilework, altarpieces, and interior ceiling were all completed in the 18th century.
The main façade is in granite and is framed by large Corinthian pilasters, topped by a large pediment with a niche.
