Campo Chã das Padeiras, Santarém.

Campo Chã das Padeiras in Santarém is the home ground of União Desportiva de Santarém. Founded in 1969, the club now play in the lower leagues of Portuguese football (presently Liga 3). The stadium has a capacity of 5,000.

The club was formed by the merger of two previous clubs: Sport Grupo Scalabitano (founded in 1911) and Sport Grupo União Operária.

The stadium is located about 1.5 km south of the town center. It is a 15-20 minute walk along Av. Dom Afonso Henriques. The Praça de Touros Celestino Graça bull ring is close by.

The stadium has a capacity of 5,000.

Things to see and do in Santarém include a visit to the colorful Mercado Municipal, Cabaças Tower, a part of the remaining defensive walls of the city and the Casa-Museu Passos Canavarro, an art museum set in the 19th century former residence of the politician Manuel da Silva Passos (1801-1862).
