Both the bus and train stations in Ourense are north of the River Minho which divides the city. The two are about 10 minutes apart on foot.

Bus Station

There are buses from Estación de Autobús de Ourense to Santiago de Compostela, Bilbao, Lugo, Pontevedra, Madrid, Oviedo and Vigo. Local buses also connect the train station and Parque de San Lazaro. The Moucho Bus is an hourly night bus.

Facilities include coin lockers, a shopping area, a cafeteria, and check-in facilities. There is also Wi-Fi in the waiting areas, ATMs, and telephone booths.

Train Station

There are trains from Ourense-Empalme Railway Station to Santiago de Compostela (40 minutes), Zamora (1 hour, 20 minutes), Vigo (1 hour, 40 minutes), León (3 hours, 40 minutes) and Madrid (2 hours, 15 minutes from Chamartin).
