728 Lisbon Bus
The 728 Lisbon bus (formerly the 28) runs from Avenue Descobertas in Restelo, stopping at Alcântara-Mar Station, then through Belem, past Belem Station on to Cais do Sodre Station on the Lisbon metro then Apolónia Station to Gare do Oriente to the Avenue Descobertas in Portela.
The bus links many metro stations and places of interest in the Portuguese capital including Estação Fluvial Belém and Estádio Restelo on its route and runs mostly along the River Tagus.
The first bus from Portela is at 5.25 am Monday to Friday with the last bus at 12.38 am. At peak times in the morning and evening up to 6 buses run per hour. On Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, the timetable is slightly different with less frequency.
From Restelo the first bus on weekdays is at 5.50 am with the last bus at 21.45 pm.
Carris operates Lisbon's buses, trams, and funiculars. Rodoviária de Lisboa (RL) buses connect the capital with the districts of Loures, Odivelas e Vila Franca de Xira outside Lisbon.
