Handy for several museums and LXFactory, Alcântara-Mar Station

Alcântara-Mar Station is a railway station on the Cascais Line (Linha de Cascais) from Cais do Sodre to Cascais. The station is convenient for seeing such sights in the area as the Museu do Oriente, LXFactory and the Carris Museum. All are within easy walking distance of the station as is the Macau Science and Culture Center.

The next station on the line heading towards Cascais is Belem.

Access - Getting There

A short 10-minute walk north from the station is Alcantara-Terra Station on the Cintura Line (Linha de Cintura). From here there are connections to Sete Rios, Entrecampos, Roma-Areeiro and Braço de Prata.

The following Lisbon buses stop near the station: the #728, #201, #203, #720, #732, #738 and #760. Lisbon trams #15E and #18E also stop just north of the station on Av. 24 Julho.
